Simrat Kaur has a deep respect for the beauty and challenges of the human experience. She has sought to uplift and bring grace through her yoga teaching since 1999. In addition to her experience as a parent, a special education teacher, and serving families in need of support, she has an extensive knowledge of plant ecology / field biology, ranch work, homesteading, and wilderness travel.
Simrat supports beginning students in taking their first yoga classes and experienced students in deepening their practice. Thorough warm-ups begin class and modifications are offered through out.
I have a form of Chronic Leukemia. I am increasing my focus on healing through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and Oriental Medicine, as well as deepening my focus on time with my growing family and in Nature. For this reason, I will step down from regular teaching slots at Yoga West Eugene, where I have been blessed to teach and support the Teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 1999.
I invite you to come study with me in my bi-weekly classes through April. Further, I am a Lead Trainer of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and am in support of the continuance of Teacher Trainings in the Pacific Northwest.
Your well wishes and prayers are surely appreciated.
With Respect,
