Sadhana strengthens the meditative mind which discerns the stimuli in the environment and then acts wisely instead of reacting. It’s an opportunity to listen to "The Infinite”. We balance right and left hemispheres of the brain and sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems among other body and energy systems.

Ideally, Sadhana begins during “Amrit Vela”, the ‘ambrosial hours’, two and a half hours just before sunrise. Then the sun is at a sixty-degree angle to the Earth and the energy you put into your sadhana creates maximum results. The world is quieter and it’s easier to meditate before the activity of the day begins. Doing sadhana at any time of the day or night will benefit you even if you are not able to practice in the early hours.

Kundalini Yoga Sadhana has been happening in various formats for over 50 years, beginning in 1969.  You will be able to find Kundalini Sadhana practices online and in person all over the world.
