The Nature and Use of Malas in Meditation:

Bring your own Mala or borrow one of Simrat's.

Attending by Zoom but no Mala?: Tie a series of knots in a cord and join it into a circle with a prominent knot. Either 26 or 27 knots plus the joining knot - or 54 knots plus the joining knot - or 108 knots plus the joining knot.

April 29th is last class Simrat Kaur will teach for an extended time.

Try it

Classes begin with warmups to help us sit more comfortably and to foster shoulder flexibility. Techniques will be given to help you participate fully. Following the meditation sequence will be a deep relaxation period.

Please bring layers of comfortable clothing, pillow(s) and a blanket or shawl.

Water is available on site or bring your own in a closed container.

Padded chairs and blankets are available if sitting on the floor is not the best for you.
